Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of macro- and microeconomic theory, economic relations, basic methods and techniques of collecting, processing and analyzing statistical information. 2. Have the tools of macro-microeconomic analysis, skills of forming an information base of research of economic systems, quantitative assessment of socio-economic phenomena and processes, the use of modern information technology, statistical tools for data visualization.
Course content
The discipline "Statistical Indicators of Economic Development" plays an important role in preparing bachelors, creates a basis of theoretical knowledge of methodology for forming basic indicators of economic processes, practical skills of statistical analysis of the economy at macro and meso levels and in various sectors of the economy.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The purpose of the discipline is for future specialists to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in statistical assessment of the state and development of the economy, application of statistical tools for comprehensive analysis of socio-economic processes, interpretation of analysis of research objects, international macroeconomic comparisons. The educational task of the course is to study the basic methods of statistical measurement and analysis of economic development, monitoring, modeling and forecasting various aspects of the economic process to develop and justify management decisions.
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. Points 60 / min. Points 36) 1. Survey, solving problems in laboratory classes, independent performance of laboratory exercises - 15 points / 9 points; 2. Two tests - each 10 points / 6 points 3. Execution of independent work - individual calculation and analytical work and presentation of results - 25 points / 15 points - final assessment in the form of an exam
