Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the course "Economics: micro- and macroeconomics".
Knowledge of theoretical foundations: fundamental problems of economic theory, the ratio of positive and normative economic theory, the functions of economic theory, the main stages and directions of historical economic development in the context of formational and civilizational approaches, basic scientific traditions in the history of philosophy, historical evolution of economic systems and economic orders. trajectories of historical evolution of economic theory.
Possession of basic general scientific and specific methods of economic research, economic categorical apparatus, public speaking skills.
Course content
Annotation of the discipline: patterns, factors and stages of historical development of pre-scientific and scientific economic thought; theoretical achievements of leading scientific paradigms, traditions, directions and schools of economic theory in their historical evolution, in the unity of economic orthodoxy and heterodoxia; meaningful content of the main historical stages of development of economic thought; theoretical contribution of its representatives; creative and critical assessment of the most important achievements and signs of the historical limitations of their economic views; substantiation on this basis of positive and normative economic theory.

The purpose of the discipline is to form a system of knowledge of content, patterns, factors, main stages of the historical process of origin and development of pre-scientific economic studies, scientific paradigms, directions, trends, schools of economic theory in the unity of positive and normative aspects at different stages of socio-economic evolution
Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of the planned learning outcomes is determined by assessing the student's work on the results of seminars, writing tests and performing independent work (writing essays, preparing presentations).
