Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Economic Theory", "Microeconomics", "Macroeconomics", " Economics of enterprise", " Theory of probability and mathematical statistics for economists ", "Management", "Marketing" and other disciplines of the management cycle, which reveal the content of economic laws, mechanism of their action, create conditions for using these laws in organization of enterprise activity and determination of ways and trends of their development.
2. Knowledge of theoretical bases of macro- and microeconomics, psychology, sociology, law, economic theory, finance, business economics.
3. Be able to calculate economic and marketing characteristics, process statistical and management data, analyze statistical and management information.
4. Have elementary skills: mathematical modeling, forecasting, use of Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
Content Module 1: "Theoretical Foundations of Managerial Decision Making". The module explores the issues of decision-making in organizational management systems, in particular, theories and models of development and management decision-making, creativity and creative process, decision-making styles, psychological characteristics of decision-making processes and forecasting in justification of managerial decisions.
Content module 2: "Practical foundations of managerial decision-making". The module addresses the issues of decision-making under conditions of uncertainty and risk, features of matrix and topological methods of decision-making, methods of multicriteria analysis and evaluation of alternatives, expert methods of implementing managerial decision-making procedures, tools of collective choice and voting, methods of reconciliation of competing decisions and studies the methodological foundations of quality and effectiveness of managerial decisions.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Information and traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, independent work, consultations, performance of individual situation-analytical and analytical tasks, case analysis, creative assignments, business game "Managerial decision-making algorithm", business game "Brainstorming method in the formulation of creative ideas", active methods of teaching: seminar "Solve the crossword", seminar "Formulation of the management task of multicriteria evaluation".
Assessment methods and criteria
Regular assessment:
- oral response/individual assignment 5 points/3 points;
- test assignments 5 points/3 points
- addition 1 point/0 points;
- calculation and analytical task 5 points/3 points
Modular control: 2 modular tests.
- Modular test (for the semester 2 MT) 10/6 points;
Independent work: performance of individual tasks - individual assignments (independent work during the semester) 20/12 points.
The final assessment is carried out in the form of an exam.
