1. Successful mastering of the courses "Economic Theory", "Higher Mathematics", "Microeconomics", "Business Economics", "Management of Organizations". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of macro- and microeconomics, psychology, sociology, law, economic theory, finance, business economics, management. 3. Be able to calculate economic indicators, process statistical data, analyze statistical information. 4. Have basic skills: mathematical modeling, forecasting, using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.

The need to study the basics of investment, its role, and its place in the economy. Subjects of investment processes. Types and forms of investment. Features of attracting foreign investment. The innovative form of investment. Investment project: essence, types, design phases, and features of the application. The concept of the value of money over time. Application of different interest accrual models. Static and dynamic methods of substantiation of real investments. Models for estimating the internal profitability and market value of financial investments. Risk methods for assessing investment processes. Taking inflation into account in making investment decisions. Investment portfolio management mechanisms. Evaluation of financial investment strategies.

Forms of student assessment: (max. Points 60 / min. Points 36) 1. Survey and problem solving (LO 1.1 .; 1.2; 2.1-2.4; 3.1-3.3 .; 4.1-4.5;) - 20 points / 12 points; 2. Independent work - estimated individual task (LO 1; 2.1-2.3; 3.2; 4) - 40 points / 24 points; Final assessment in the form of an exam.
