Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Critically comprehend, select and use the necessary scientific, methodological, and analytical tools for management in unpredictable conditions. PLO 7. Organize and carry out effective communication within the team, with representatives of various professional groups, and in the international context. PLO 17. Apply skills of intellectual property management to enhance innovation at the micro, meso, macroeconomic levels.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Management", "Fundamentals of science and technology and innovation policy", "Organization and management of innovations". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of macro- and microeconomics, psychology, sociology, law, economic theory, finance, business economics. 3. Be able to calculate economic indicators, process statistical data, analyze statistical information. 4. Have basic skills: mathematical modeling, forecasting, using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
Content module 1. "Theoretical principles of formation and development of national innovation systems." The module covers the following issues: innovation economy: essence and characteristics; the essence of the national innovation system, its structure, rating approach to the evaluation of the national innovation system, the concept, types, and structure of regional innovation systems. Content module 2. "Practical aspects of the functioning and development of national innovation systems: the global context and Ukraine." It examines the features and possibilities of implementing the experience of formation and development of the US national innovation system, the implementation of models of national innovation systems in Europe, national innovation systems of leading Asian countries; issues of development of the national innovation system of Ukraine, public administration in the structure of the national innovation system of Ukraine are studied.

Problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, discussion, consideration of situational and practical situations, consultations, independent work
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: 1. Oral interview, discussion (LO 1; 2.1, 2.2 .; 3.1) - 10 points / 6 points; 2. Situational-analytical, test tasks (LO 1; 2.1-2.2) - 10 points / 6 points; 3. Modular tests (LO 1; 2.1-2.3; 4) - 20 points / 12 points; 4. Creative individual and group tasks (LO 1; 2.1-2.3; 3; 4) - 20 points / 12 points The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam with a maximum score of 40 points (marginal score of 24 points).
