Course content
Pre-diploma internship plays a significant role in the preparation of highly qualified professionals who possess a comprehensive set of professional knowledge, practical skills, and necessary organizational qualities in the field of computer science. This type of internship serves as a preparatory stage for the development of the chosen topic for the bachelor's graduation qualification work. It involves collecting materials for the completion of the qualification work, studying new advancements related to the topic, reviewing existing solutions for the identified and formulated problem, conducting research, and implementing the obtained results.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Survey, consultations with the internship supervisor, studying documentation, independent work, studying literary sources, completion of individual tasks, oral presentation, and presentation of the internship report.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the internship period:
- The supervisor from the hosting organization assesses the student's knowledge, skills, the results of the individual task, and the prepared internship report. They provide a grade in the internship journal and offer a written feedback on the student's performance.
- The university supervisor monitors the student's progress in completing the individual internship plan, the results of the individual task, and the prepared internship report. They assign a grade in the internship journal and provide a written feedback on the student's work.
After the completion of the internship, there is a defense of the internship report before a committee formed by the graduating department. During the defense, the student presents the results of their work, presents the report, and answers questions from the committee members.
The assessment includes the student's performance during the internship period at the organization and the defense of the internship report.
