Course content
Robotic systems is a field that covers a fairly wide class of objects, from the simplest toys to fully automated productions and mechanisms designed to replace humans in performing difficult, unpleasant and dangerous work. Modern computer software and hardware are the core of robotic systems. High computing speed and fast-acting intelligent control tools provide ample opportunities for implementing adaptive high-precision control of executive devices taking into account external influences and informative factors. As a result of studying the discipline, students should master fundamental and applied knowledge and principles of operation of robotics tools; general principles of building robots; features of executive bodies (drives) of robots; mathematical models of robots, robotic systems and complexes, principles of their adaptive and intelligent management.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, Laboratory classes, Student's work independently
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, after the completion of the relevant modules, two written (modular) test papers are conducted. At the same time, to determine the level of achievement of learning outcomes 2 and 3, separate questions are formulated in the form of situational problems. For students who during the semester did not reach the minimum grade level (60% of the maximum possible number of points, i.e. 48 points), a final semester test is conducted, the maximum grade for which cannot exceed 40% of the final grade (up to 40 points on a one-point scale). The condition for obtaining a positive final grade for the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points, while the grade for learning outcomes 2 and 3 cannot be less than 50% of the maximum level
