Course content
The discipline is part of the cycle of fundamental, humanitarian, and general economic training for specialists. The introduction of this discipline into the curriculum is recommended by the Scientific and Methodological Council of the university, as the environmentalization of all spheres of human activity is a universally recognized priority of states and international institutions in the field of higher education. The subject of modern ecology is the relationships of organisms with the environment and the structural-functional organization of supra-organismal systems (populations, groups, ecosystems, the biosphere), as well as the mechanisms for maintaining their stability in space and time. The discipline serves as the scientific foundation for all nature conservation work and is an integral component of environmental management, ecological forecasting, and optimization of various forms of economic, social, or other human activities.
