Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Fundamentals of Tourism Studies", "Geography of Recreation and Tourism", "Tourist Local Studies", "Organization of Excursion Services", "Tourist Local Studies".
2. To be able to find and analyze the necessary information on the subject of the discipline.
3. Possess the skills of analysis, synthesis, situation modeling, creative approach to solving discipline problems.
Course content
The methodology and principles of organizing tourists' leisure time, the peculiarities of tourist animation are revealed. Attention is focused on: basic concepts and terms; functions and types of animation in tourism; history of the development of cultural and leisure activities; modern forms and infrastructure of leisure; peculiarities of the organization of leisure time and animation technologies at various tourist enterprises; animation management; principles and methods of organizing animation activities. Information is provided on the types and technologies of the organization of animation programs; methods and algorithms for developing, organizing and conducting various tourist animation programs; dramaturgical and script-directing basics of cultural and leisure activities; differentiation of animation service for tourists.

Assessment methods and criteria
Blitz surveys and express tests are conducted during lectures and practical work, which in the end form up to 10% of the grade.
Practical work is carried out according to the work curriculum according to the provided schedule. Part of the practical classes involves consolidating certain skills through the performance of specific works directly in the classroom. These practical works are completed and passed day by day. Each practical work is evaluated in 2.5 points, which add up to the final 20%.
Practical works that are submitted late are counted (provided they are completed by more than 60%) as a prerequisite for admission to the credit, but they are not graded. The maximum number of points on the test is 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester marks is 24 points (60% of the maximum points,
that are credited).
