Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Successful mastering of the disciplines "Tourist geography", "Safety in tourism and tourist formalities", "Geography of recreation and tourism", "Tourist cartography". 2) Be able to: establish the conditions and factors for the formation of demand for ecological and active types of tourism in the world; to study the structure of its organization in order to deepen the analysis of the current state and determine the direction of development forecasting; determine destinations of active and ecological tourism, rank and group regions of the world according to rating criteria. 3) Possess elementary skills: analysis of the resource potential of countries for the needs of active and ecological tourism, determining sports and tourism destinations, conducting regional analysis and evaluating the functioning of structural and territorial components of the organization of tourism and sports activities
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the theory and practice of conducting ecological, sports and health routes, practical organization and conduct of these events in the selected area, taking into account the recreational and educational value and compliance with the requirements of safety, legislative framework, public functions; active tourism management system; economic functions of active tourism, organizational principles of tourist work. This discipline is designed to show the role of active tourism in the global tourism process through the study of the social functions of active tourism, to use the acquired knowledge and skills in the practice of active tourism, to develop a strategy and tactics of sports and health tourism routes for hikes of different categories of difficulty, in different geographical areas (regions) and climatic zones, to behave accordingly in critical situations that may arise during a hike, to provide first (pre-medical) medical aid, to organize management activities in tourist groups of different types.

Assessment methods and criteria
Final tests are conducted in the form of tests and open questions. Each of the works is evaluated at a maximum of 10 points. At lectures and practicals, blitz surveys are conducted, which in the end form up to 5 points (the final score is the arithmetic average of all surveys, each of which is estimated at 5 points). - participation in discussions of current theoretical and applied problems (up to 15 points; at least 3 excellent answers per semester); - preparation and presentation of a case study based on tasks set in advance (up to 5 points; according to the class schedule); - submission of an essay on a given topic (up to 5 points); - presentation of individual/group research presentation. .
