Successful mastering of educational disciplines: "Fundamentals of Tourism Studies", "Tourist Regional Studies", "Geography of Recreation and Tourism", "Tourist Regional Studies", "Ukrainian and Foreign Culture", "Safety in Tourism and Tourist Formalities" 2. Knowledge of basic tourism terminology 3. To have basic skills of searching and analyzing information from various sources.

The study of the educational discipline NND.16 "Organization of excursion services" is aimed at the formation of general and professional competencies defined by the educational and professional program. It consists of two content modules. Content of the discipline: theoretical and methodological principles of excursion activities; conceptual and terminological apparatus; basics of excursion theory; the essence of the excursion and its functions; stages of preparation of the excursion; methodical techniques for conducting an excursion; professional skills of the tour guide; quality control of excursions; a differentiated approach to excursion service for different categories of consumers.

Lectures, practical work, self-study

Practical works are handed in at each practical session or at the time specified by the teacher; for works submitted after the specified deadline, the assessment is 50% of the maximum number of points. Control work is conducted in the form of blitz tests for 6-7 weeks of study during the lecture. For students who have completed less than 60% of practical work, additional control work is conducted in the 11-12th week of study. - Exam; - the maximum number of points a student can receive: 40 points; - form of conduct: written exam (in test form); - types of tasks: 40 tests (the share in the overall assessment of each question is 1.0%); - a student who scored during the semester the total number of points less than critical-calculation minimum - 35 points, before the final assessment not allowed
