Prerequisites and co-requisites
1). Successful mastering of the disciplines "Quality Management in Tourism", "Innovative Activities in Tourism", "Risks in Tourism". 2). To be able to: apply knowledge about the organization and application of modern digital technologies when solving tasks in tourism activities; to navigate the creation and placement of materials on the global Internet, to use IT technologies at the enterprise. 3).To have basic skills of creating tourist sites; work in reservation systems; knowledge of network software applications using WEB technologies
Course content
The academic discipline is devoted to study
theoretical and methodological foundations of digital technologies in tourism, their essence, structure;
basic concepts and strategies in managing the activities of tourist enterprises.
Illuminates the issue of the current state and trends in the development of information systems; gives an idea
about the main corporate information systems in the context of tourism business management,
informational support for management decision-making.
This discipline is designed to show objectivity and the need to implement systems
automation of tourism activities in Ukraine and at the international level in conditions
globalization, under the conditions of defending national interests, taking into account program complexes
tourism industry management.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level evaluation of the learned material, in particular, evaluation of theoretical training - learning outcomes, -50% of the total evaluation and evaluation of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1.-2.7) - 30%; (communication 3) – 10%; (autonomy and responsibility 4.1.-4.2.) – 10% of the total grade. The maximum number of points on the test is 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester marks is 24 points (60% of the maximum points assigned to the exam). In the event that the student scored less than the specified number of points on the exam, they are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points received during the semester), in the examination information, "0" is written in the "exam points" column, and "0" is written in the "resulting grade" column » only the number of points received during the semester is transferred.
