Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations and methodology of social geography. 2. Basic ideas about geospatial analysis and management. 3. Basic skills of working with geospatial information.
Course content
Based on the integrative function of geography the issues of governance / management are areddressed, in particular: the essence of geospatial transformation of management; modern paradigms of social development and integrative function of geographical knowledge in solving problems of government / management and regional development; modern conceptualizations of space, time, spatial relations and processes; tools of geospatial governance / management, incl. geostatistics, geomenagement and geomarketing, geospatial exploration.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Blitz-testing – 20/12 points 2. Presentations – 20/12 points 3. Indivisual research – 20/12 points For students who during the semester did not reach the minimum threshold level (60% of the maximum possible number of points) is a semester test, the maximum score for which may not exceed 40% of the final grade (up to 40 points on a 100-point scale). The condition for obtaining a positive final grade in the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points, and the grade for learning outcomes provided for in paragraphs 2 and 3 may not be less than 50% of the maximum level (not less than 20, 5 and 8 points respectively). Author's research (analytical note) - Defense-presentation of results is carried out in the penultimate week of training. For works submitted after this deadline, the score is reduced by 2 points for each day of delay
