Learning outcomes
LO06. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the geographical envelope and its components.
LO09. Conduct research on the geographic envelope and its spheres using quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis.
LO11. Organize and summarize the materials of field and laboratory studies, integrate them from observation to recognition, synthesis and modeling.
LO14. Demonstrate the ability to conduct independent research of natural and socio-geographic objects, systems and processes in the geographic envelope under field and laboratory conditions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of the disciplines "Soil Science", "Geomorphology", "Research, Engineering and Environmental Geomorphology", "Fundamentals of Nature Tourism", "Natural Tourist Attractions of the World".
2) skills of field landscape research, free use of GIS tools.
Course content
The educational discipline considers modern methods and innovative solutions for land reclamation and revitalization of natural objects.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, independent work, practical classes
Assessment methods and criteria
Surveys in test and written form, performance of practical and independent tasks, MKR, exam. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points. For students who scored a total of less than 36 points (recommended minimum), writing essays on missed or insufficiently mastered topics is a mandatory condition for admission to the exam.
The final evaluation in the form of an exam is conducted in a written format. The maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the semester ones is 24.
