Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of such general education disciplines as "Geology", "Geomorphology", "Lithological and petrographic basis of relief", "Methods of geomorphological research". 2) mastery of geomorphological research methods.
Course content
The subject of the discipline "Urbogeomorphology" is the study of the main features of the relief of the earth's surface (morphology, genesis, age, dynamics) and geomorphological processes (their genetic types, mechanisms of flow, patterns of distribution on Earth, etc.), their impact on the engineering and environmental safety of urban settlements. The modern structure of applied geomorphological studies of urban areas is considered: engineering-geomorphological analysis, ecological-geomorphological and landscape-architectural analysis. An ecological and geomorphological assessment of urban areas is given.
