LO01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of earth sciences.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Mastering the disciplines "Spatial and landscape planning", "Ecology", "Environmental law of Ukraine", "International environmental law", 2) To be able to observe and analyze the living space on different information slices, evaluate natural conditions and resources, compare strategy and the practice of spatial planning in different regions of the world, to select positive experiences of nature use.
3) Possess GIS, skills in the analysis of cartographic materials, Earth remote sensing materials, and construction of thematic maps.
Course content
The content of the discipline reveals theoretical-methodical and applied issues of spatial planning, in particular, the history of the formation of spatial and landscape planning; research of experience of spatial planning in different regions of the world; familiarization with international regulatory requirements for planning and development of urban, suburban and rural areas, analysis and identification of best practices of spatial and landscape planning.

Assessment methods and criteria
Examination in test, oral and written form. The final assessment in the form of credit is conducted in writing. The maximum number of points on the test is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to semester points is 24 points.
Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to pass the test. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points.
