Course content
"Hydrology" is devoted to the study of general regularities of processes in the hydrosphere, the interconnection of the hydrosphere with the atmosphere, lithosphere; water cycle on Earth; the main regularities of the physical and geographical distribution of water bodies (rivers, lakes, glaciers, groundwater, swamps, oceans and seas) and their reserves; power sources of water bodies and their hydrological regime, as well as the attention of students of geographers is paid to the examination and mastering of the main instruments and means of hydrometric observations and methods of hydrological research on water bodies.

Assessment methods and criteria
Test, blitz survey, performance of practical work, assessment. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points. For students who scored a total of less than 36 points (recommended minimum), a mandatory condition for admission to the exam is to write essays on issues of missed or insufficiently mastered topics.
The final evaluation in the form of an exam is conducted in a written format. The maximum number of points during the exam is 40, the minimum number of points added to semester points is 24 (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the exam).
