            LO01. Collect, process and analyze information in the branches of the subject area of geographical sciences. LO02. Professionally use the state language orally and in writing LO07. Apply models, methods and data of natural and social sciences, information technologies, etc. when studying the formation and development of objects and processes of the geographical envelope. LO10. Analyze the composition and structure of natural and socio-geographic objects and systems (according to specialization) at different spatio-temporal levels. LO11. Organize and summarize the materials of field and laboratory studies, integrate them from observation to recognition, synthesis and modeling. LO13. To observe moral and ethical aspects of research, intellectual and academic integrity, professional code of conduct. LO16.             Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process based on school knowledge
programs of disciplines "History", "People and the world", "Artistic culture", "Ethics". 2. To be able to collect and interpret information about phenomena and phenomena of the world and culture, to understand the essence of philosophical problems, topics, ideas, to be able to analyze philosophical and scientific texts; 3. To have elementary skills of perception and analysis of information; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural events and phenomena.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The discipline "Philosophy" is taught in the 7th semester of the bachelor's degree in preparation for the specialty "Geography". Educational  discipline "Philosophy" provides an opportunity to involve students in worldview and methodological culture accumulated by mankind throughout the history of its existence, show the integral, integrative nature of knowledge about the surrounding world, to emphasize the fundamental importance for each person of his free worldview self-determination, choosing an active life position, creating good by doing strengthening of the state and society through own activities. Philosophy for the future of geography specialists is a worldview and at the same time a methodological basis on which it is based there is assimilation of humanitarian, general education, fundamental and applied disciplines.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Oral report, written control work, examination work. The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from all two parts and performing independent work. Assessment in the exam takes place in written form. A student is not admitted to the exam if he scored less than 35 points during the semester. To be admitted to the exam, a student must pass all forms of independent work and pass a colloquium. The exam grade cannot be less than 25 points to obtain an overall positive grade for the course.
