Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Educational practice on acquisition methods geographic information", "Educational practice on methods of processing geographic information", "Basics of GIS", "GIS in natural geography". 2. Know the main sources of data and information for the implementation of natural of geographical research, the main provisions of geoinformatics and their features application in the context of studies of landscapes and their components. 3. To be able to analyze the peculiarities of natural and anthropogenic processes in geographical envelopes, to be able to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the state geocomponents and predict changes in them; 4. To know modern quantitative and qualitative methods of geographical research, to be able to use them apply in production and research activities; be able to model objects and processes using modern quantitative and qualitative methods and geo-information technologies.
Course content
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Educational practice on acquisition methods geographic information", "Educational practice on methods of processing geographic information", "Basics of GIS", "GIS in natural geography". 2. Know the main sources of data and information for the implementation of natural of geographical research, the main provisions of geoinformatics and their features application in the context of studies of landscapes and their components. 3. Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Assessment methods and criteria
Test, performance of creative analytical and calculation works, discourse, assessment. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points. For students who scored a total of less than 36 points (recommended minimum), writing essays on missed or insufficiently mastered topics is a mandatory condition for admission to the credit. The final evaluation in the form of credit is conducted in written format. The maximum number of credit points is 40, the minimum number of points added to the semester credit is 24 (60% of the maximum number of credit points).
