Learning outcomes
LO04. Analyze the geographical potential of the territory in connection with the geomorphological situation, as well as for the organization and development of naturally cognitive tourism.LO05. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of geographical sciences, in particular to solve problems of geomorphology, palaeogeography and naturally cognitive tourism. LO06. Use information technologies, cartographic and geoinformation models in the study of processes of relief formation and development, organization and functioning of field of the naturally cognitive tourism.LO11. Adhere to the moral and ethical aspects of research, honesty, professional code of behavior.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Fundamentals of geoecology", "Landscape science", "Landscape ecology", "Geomorphology", "Meteorology", "Hydrology", "Economic and social geography of the world", "Educational practice on the basics of field natural and geographical research" . 2. Have the ability to think critically, analyze and synthesize information about natural objects from various sources; 3. To be able to independently investigate and analyze the spatial and temporal parameters of landscapes; 4. To know modern quantitative and qualitative methods of geographical research, to be able to apply them in production and research activities.
Course content
This educational discipline is dedicated to the study of general sources of obtaining objective, scientific geographical information, principles and modern methods of solving the main problems in the plane of the subject area of ​​knowledge of natural geography. The discipline is aimed at the formation of special professional, social and personal competencies in students, the accumulation of knowledge regarding the possibility of critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, the ability to identify, formulate and solve problems in the field of natural geography. Separate components of the discipline are the study of scientific publications (articles in specialized publications, monographs, etc.), cartographic materials, results of field and laboratory research, data of remote sensing of the Earth as the main sources of obtaining reliable information about the environment.

Assessment methods and criteria
Performance of creative analytical and calculation works, differentiated assessment. Performance of creative analytical and calculation works, differentiated assessment. The recommended minimum for admission is 30 points. For students who scored a total of less than 30 points (recommended minimum), writing essays on missed or insufficiently mastered topics is a mandatory condition for admission to differentiated credit. The final evaluation in the form of a differentiated credit is conducted in a written format. The maximum number of points is 40, the minimum number of points that can be added to semester marks is 20 (50% of the maximum number of points assigned to the differential assessment).
