            PLO04. Use modern statistical methods, models, digital technologies, specialized software to solve complex problems that arise in the process of exercising the right to local self-government
PLO09. Communicate in a foreign language on professional topics, discuss problems of local self-government and research results.
РLO12. Plan and carry out scientific and applied research in the field of local self-government, including problem analysis, setting goals and tasks, selection and use of theoretical and empirical research methods, analysis of its results, deliberate conclusions formulation.
PLO15. Develop and teach special academic subjects on public administration in higher educational institutions.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            The student has to: 
1. Know: the basic principles of territorial organization of power in Ukraine, the basics of public authorities’ regulatory and legal support; the specifics of the organization of activities in the system of local self-government; conceptual provisions of regional policy formation and implementation, policy and law analysis.
2. Be able to use analytical and statistical methods of information processing on territorial entities social and economic development, public authorities performance indicators, work with national and international databases. 
3. Possess the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical, sociological and other data, work with the legal framework, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, including theoretical training assessment – which is 25% of the total assessment for the semester and practical training assessment – which is 75% of the overall assessment for the semester.

4.	Individual analytical task
5.	Independent work
– final assessment: the form of final control is a credit.
– graduation evaluation:is carried out in the form of a written test and estimated at a maximum of 20 points and is carried out at one of the last practical classes. The final grade in the discipline for the student is set based on the results of the work during the semester as the sum of the points received during the academic semester, including the points obtained when performing independent work and final test.
