Course content
Industrial practice is an integral part of the general educational process and serves as a logical completion of the educational cycle of the third year of study. As part of practical work, students learn the skills of independent problem solving in hydrology, hydrochemistry, hydroecology, water resources management, and learn about the work of various specialized institutions and organizations. A meaningful part of practice is mastering the process of collecting initial hydrological information, processing and analyzing observation data, developing recommendations for solving a specific task of the relevant problems of hydrology, hydrochemistry, hydroecology, water resources management, getting to know the structure of the organization that accepted the student for practice. At this stage, students must learn to analyze and summarize collected data, develop skills for independent problem solving in the field of hydrology, hydrochemistry, hydroecology, and water resources management. During the internship, students-interns must strictly follow the rules of labor protection and fire safety. Each student receives individual tasks, which must be completed in a timely and qualitative manner and completed in accordance with the specified requirements.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Execution of field and chamber project-research works according to tasks according to the approved calendar schedule of practice and individual tasks:
- characteristics of research objects;
- collection of source information;
- processing and analysis of raw data;
- providing recommendations on solving a specific task;
- collection of materials, filling in the diary.
Systematization of collected materials and report writing
Assessment methods and criteria
After the end of the internship period, students report on the completion of an individual task and the internship program at the institution. The student's form of reporting on the internship is a written report and its defense at the department meeting. The written report, agreed with the head of practice from the institution, is submitted for review to the scientific supervisor and approved by the head of practice from the department. The report should contain information on the student's performance of all sections of the internship program at the institution and individual assignments, sections on occupational health and safety, conclusions and suggestions for improving the content of the internship, etc. A mandatory element is a description of the student from the head of practice from the institution.
