Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the main psychological categories used in clinically oriented psychological disciplines at the level of a student who has completed the 2nd year of bachelor's degree at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv 2. Be able to use knowledge of the specifics of the basic categories of pathopsychology, the basic principles of work of psychologists with mentally ill patients of different ages, patterns of violations of higher mental functions at the undergraduate level of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. 3. Have basic skills of conducting a clinical interview at the level of a psychologist.
Course content
The discipline "Pathopsychology" belongs to the list of normative disciplines of the cycle of professional training of specialists with higher education in the specialty "Psychology". It examines the methods of psychological diagnosis and correction, the work of a psychologist in a psychiatric hospital, determining the importance for psychology of qualification of intellectual, emotional and volitional defects, personality disorders and their place in the system of psychological knowledge.

Assessment methods and criteria
Final assessment in the form of an exam. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points on a 100-point scale. Conditions for dropping out of the exam. The student is not allowed to take the test if during the semester he scored less than 36 points. The student is admitted to credit for the condition of 50% of the planned practical work. Organization evaluation: after topic 1 is modular control work 1; after topic 3 students prepare presentations; after topic 5 is a modular control work 2 is tailored case.
