Learning outcomes
PRN 1. Know the main historical stages of development of the subject area. Collect, process and
analyze information in the fields of geography, other natural sciences, and humanities
of science
PRN 4. Know and understand the peculiarities of teaching heterogeneous groups of students, apply
differentiation of learning, organizing the educational process taking into account special needs
students
PRN 9. To have the forms and methods of educating students in lessons and in extracurricular work,
be able to monitor the dynamics of the child's personal development.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) awareness of the importance of purposeful training and personality education;
2) possession of elementary skills of formation of the main regulators of activity and behavior in the group.
Course content
In the course "Pedagogy of the secondary school"
issues of personality development, education and socialization are considered; components of didactics and
theories of education, in particular their principles, methods, techniques, types, means, etc. Discipline
acquaints with current problems of education and personality education, perspectives
development of these processes. Considerable attention is paid to specifying the content of education, styles and
methods of teacher communication with pupils, the latest educational technologies, questions
managing a secondary education institution, as well as performing independent and creative writing
works, preparing multimedia presentations, writing essays on pedagogical topics.
