Course content
teach students to see the English language as a means of learning,
expansion and deepening of systemic professional knowledge, as well as means
independent improvement of one's professional qualifications;
• reveal to students the potential of the English language as an opportunity
expansion of own language, speech, linguistic, sociocultural and
other competencies in the specialty

Assessment methods and criteria
Final assessment in the 1st semester (in the form of credit)
The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout
semester and does not provide for additional assessment measures for successful students.
Final assessment in the II semester (in written and oral form
exam)
The maximum number of points for completing exam tasks is 40.
The exam consists of two parts: 1) performance of tasks to the text (20 points); 2)
interview (20 points).
Final evaluation in the VII semester (in the form of a written exam)
The maximum number of points for completing exam tasks is 100.
The exam consists of performing test tasks (100 points).
