Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to improve the ability to communicate in a foreign language, to understand the original professional-oriented literature, and to develop the necessary communication skills in oral and written forms within the scope of the subject necessary for the future professional activity of the student. Achieving the set goal is facilitated by the use of the method of situation analysis during practical classes. The main forms of control of classroom and independent work of students are the preparation of presentations, reports, writing essays, business letters, performance of control tasks.

Assessment methods and criteria
Conditions for admission to the final assessment (I semester) The recommended minimum for admission to the test is 36 points. The assessment involves an interview on two conversational topics (one from each content module). The maximum number of points for the interview is 40. To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the credit score cannot be less than 24 points. Conditions for admission to the final exam Students who scored during the current control (for classroom and independent work) a lower number of points than the critical calculation minimum - 36 points, are not allowed to take the exam and are considered to have not fulfilled the program minimum provided by the curriculum for the discipline "Foreign language ( English)". To receive an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the exam cannot be less than 24 points.
