The most important directions of increasing hydrocarbon production -
International law regulation of oil and gas exploitation and production - Basic principles of the Subsoil Code of Ukraine, regulations and industry standards - Rules for the development of oil and gas fields and safety rules in the oil and gas industry - Requirements for geological and geophysical data and the content of bachelor's theses - Applied theoretical knowledge in oil and gas company, enterprise, scientific institution, etc. - Participate in solving practical problems, maintain geological documentation, document of drilling core, rock and fluid sampling- Analyze materials on geology and petroleum potential, generalize geological and geophysical materials on the area of research

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the general, structural, petroleum geology and geological mapping, as well as lithology, geophysical research methods and ecology
Course content
The program considers the content of bachelor's practice, which includes the choice of practice base (company, enterprise, scientific institution, etc.), preparatory period, work at a company, collection of geological and geophysical data for further research and writing a bachelor's thesis, report protection and evaluation of collected geological and geophysical materials. The consideration includes approaches to the study of the company, its technical equipment, areas of exploration or production and scientific activities in the oil and gas industry. Approximate topics of bachelor's theses are determined

Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the rating system and includes: a written report on practice (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and the ability to solve problems by methods and tools provided by the tasks for practice), an oral presentation and answers to questions. The final assessment is conducted in the form a differentiated test by the teacher’s commission
