PR01. Know and understand the fundamental and applied aspects of environmental sciences. PR02. Be able to use conceptual environmental patterns in professional activities. PR03. Know at the level of the latest achievements the basic concepts of natural science, sustainable development and methodology of scientific knowledge. PR14. Apply new approaches to developing decision-making strategies in difficult unpredictable conditions. PR16. Choose the optimal strategy for management and / or nature management depending on environmental conditions. PR17. Critically comprehend knowledge from various subject areas to solve theoretical and / or practical problems and problems.

1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Philosophy", "Introduction to University Studies", "Socio-Political Studies", "Ukrainian and Foreign Culture". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of professional disciplines.
Course content
The discipline acquaints students with the main structural units of modern philosophy of science and philosophy of ecology, presents modern science as a multidimensional phenomenon, the role of science in cognition and society, highlights the conceptual structures of modern science, provides knowledge of important philosophical problems of modern ecology, ethics and ethics.
