Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical educational material
disciplines taught to undergraduate students, including such
courses such as "Chemistry with the basics of biogeochemistry", "Ecophysiology of plants", "Ecophysiology
Animals "," Soil Science "," Environmental Monitoring "," Environmental Safety ", etc.
2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of physics, chemistry, etc. disciplines, work
with scientific and methodological literature.
3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment that
used in the laboratory.
Course content
The program of the discipline is devoted to the following main topics: quantitative parameters for assessing the impact of ionizing radiation; the impact of ionizing radiation and radionuclides on biological objects and ecosystems; topical issues of radiation safety. Relevant topics today on the importance of "Radioecology" as a training course are the disclosure of regulations on ionizing radiation, natural and artificial sources, the effects of radiation and chemical transformations on living organisms and possible solutions, basic principles of environmental protection and forecasting possible environmental consequences radioactive contamination.
