Determine the nature and principles of treatment of patients (conservative, operative) with diseases in a health care institution, based on a preliminary clinical diagnosis, adhering to relevant ethical and legal norms, by making an informed decision on existing algorithms and standard schemes, if necessary schemes to be able to substantiate personalized recommendations under the supervision of a doctor-manager in a medical institution

Course content
The discipline "Clinical Parasitology and Tropical Medicine" is a branch of medicine that deals with a wide range of infectious and parasitic diseases that are prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions. Tropical medicine is a complex discipline that uses the achievements of microbiology, hygiene, epidemiology, parasitology and other disciplines. The subject of study is also the etiology, diagnosis, clinic, treatment, epidemiology and prevention of tropical diseases. The prevalence of infectious tropical diseases in the tropics and subtropics is due to a set of favorable natural conditions. Only in hot climates can there be many thermophilic pathogens (certain bacteria, viruses, protozoa, helminths), their intermediate hosts, vectors of pathogens (such as tsetse flies, tropical mosquitoes) and warm-blooded hosts - sources and reservoirs of pathogens.
