PRN 01. Have thorough knowledge of the structure of professional activity. To be able to carry out professional activities that require updating and integration of knowledge. Understanding and knowledge of fundamental and clinical biomedical sciences, at a level sufficient for solving professional tasks in the field of health care. PRN 21. Search for the necessary information in the professional literature and databases of other sources, analyze, evaluate and apply this information.

The discipline "Medical Chemistry" considers the basic provisions of chemistry necessary for the successful professional activity of masters of medicine, contains separate sections of inorganic, analytical, physical and colloidal chemistry. Considers the structure of the atom, the principles of the organization of the periodic system of elements, the chemistry of biogenic elements, chemical bonds in molecules, the basics of the theory of solutions, the properties of water, the doctrine of solutions, dissociation, the theory of acids and bases, buffers, the basics of surface phenomena and methods of determining biomolecules based on on the phenomenon of adsorption.
