Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. know the main stages of development of ethical thought; basic ethical and philosophical concepts and categories, characteristics of the basic provisions of ethical systems and their corresponding value-normative programs; basic methods of philosophical and ethical research, methods of psychology in the analytical consideration of dilemmas;
2. be able to apply the basic methodology of imperative-value aspects of professional practice directly to the dilemmas of professional and corporate ethics; predict and anticipate possible negative consequences;
3. have basic research skills and integrated research information; information management and the use of foreign language professional information sources, namely, to obtain and analyze information from various sources that would meet the requirements and needs of anticipation of dilemma processes in the modern socio-cultural space, cultural and professional sphere.
Course content
The discipline consistently considers the features of the development and formation of professional and corporate ethics and their need for modern professional practices. The subject, tasks, theoretical bases, methodologies, the basic directions of professional ethics are defined. The peculiarities of using in-depth knowledge of legal and ethical norms in assessing the consequences of their activities, developing and developing practical skills and abilities of decision-making on ethical behavior of specialists in dilemma situations, as well as familiarization with codes of professional ethics. Peculiarities of mastering the methods of data analysis of codes and their improvement, gaining understanding and belief in following the norms of professional ethics as a necessary condition for professional development are considered.
