Successful mastering of disciplines "Cytology and histology of the person" "General genetics", "Technique of laboratory works", "Modern laboratory researches", "Human anatomy", "Cytological researches". Ability to independently apply knowledge of cytology, histology, biochemistry, anatomy, etc. disciplines for solving specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. Possession of basic principles of laboratory research methods and basic skills of systems analysis.
Course content
The study of modern problems of cytogenetics and molecular biology generates in students a holistic view of the formation of knowledge and practical skills for further study by students of a range of disciplines that provide scientific and professional training for mastering modern problems and achievements of molecular medicine. The knowledge acquired during the study of this discipline is necessary for medical professionals, as it allows to understand the molecular-genetic basis of hereditary and multifactorial diseases, prospects for the application of molecular biology in practical medicine.
