Know: modern methods of clinical and laboratory examination of patients, their diagnostic capabilities; methods of microbiological diagnostics; methods of immunodiagnostics, assessment of immune status; the concept of specificity, sensitivity of tests; main normative documents of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine regarding the organization of work of laboratory diagnostic institutions of various profiles and their equipment with the necessary equipment, reagents, etc .; basic normative documents on the rules of safety, fire safety, industrial sanitation, anti-epidemic regime, which regulate the work of laboratory and diagnostic institutions of various profiles; list of laboratory methods taking into account the organizational structure of health care institutions and sanitary and epidemiological surveillance;

Educational practice is a link between theoretical learning and independent practical activities of students. During the distance stage, students can effectively study and consolidate their theoretical knowledge in comfortable conditions for them. Laboratory diagnostic practice is one of the types of practical training in the direction of 120102 "Medicine" and is designed for students of the 3rd year of professional skills and abilities in the specialty, expanding and systematizing knowledge gained in the study of special disciplines, skills in structural units of health care .

The internship program includes conducting scientific and practical seminars, assigning students to certain diagnostic and laboratory institutions and temporarily performing their duties as laboratory assistants and acquainting them with the work of research institutions in Kyiv, modern areas of their research.

The main forms of educational practice are: 1) conducting scientific and methodological seminars; 2) conducting thematic excursions to research institutions of Kyiv; 3) performance of independent individual tasks (search, analysis of scientific literature and writing a report). Form of final control of learning success: protection of practice, the evaluation of which is equivalent to a differentiated credit
