Course content
The course covers the study of inheritance and variability of human pathological traits. The classification of hereditary diseases, molecular mechanisms of pathological conditions in the manifestation of chromosomal and genetic hereditary diseases are considered. WARNING. is given to hereditary predisposition to "sporadic" diseases (cancer, mental, cardiovascular diseases, etc.). The connection of different polymorphic variants of the human genome with different pathological conditions is considered. General information on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs, causes of individual sensitivity to drugs, genetic variants of drug transport and metabolism systems, pharmacological aspects of genetic variants of drug target molecules are considered. Problems of appointment of individual schemes of drug therapy depending on a genotype of the patient are discussed.
