PR3.Use theories and laws of mathematics, physics, chemistry and other sciences to solve problems of modern biology PR4. Understand the basic terms, concepts, principles, theories and laws in the field of biological sciences and on the borders of subject areas PR7.Demonstrate knowledge of the structural organization of biological systems at the molecular level of the organization PR17. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of courses "Virology", "Molecular Biology", "Biophysics". 2. Ability to apply knowledge and skills in the field of virology, molecular biology and molecular biophysics, acquired during previous training, to search and analyze the scientific literature. 3. Possession of skills of abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis.
Course content
The course covers the principles of structural and functional organization of viral particles and their components (proteins, nucleic acids) and the laws of their cooperative interaction during self-assembly of virus virions. The knowledge gained during the study of this discipline can be used in research in related sciences and in interdisciplinary.
