Learning outcomes
Apply in professional activities methods for determining the structural and functional characteristics of biological systems at different levels of the organization. Choose methods, algorithms for planning and conducting laboratory tests, including mathematical methods and software for research, processing and presentation of results. Through self-study to master new knowledge and modern methods of experimental research to solve problems of biology. Demonstrate communication in dialogue with colleagues and the target audience, conduct professional scientific discussions, reflect in writing and present the results of their research in Ukrainian.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Bioorganic Chemistry", "Molecular Biology", "Biochemistry", "Biotechnology". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of bioorganic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, etc. disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Know the basic principles of basic biological methods. 4. Be able to use specialized laboratory equipment, reagents for experimental research in order to solve a specific scientific and practical problem. 5. Have basic skills in planning and conducting experimental research in the field of biochemistry in order to solve a specific scientific and practical problem.
Course content
The discipline "Methods of Practical Biochemistry" is part of the educational program for training specialists at the educational level "Bachelor". The discipline covers the development of modern research methods, designed to outline the range of methods and techniques of physical and chemical research that can be used to solve specific scientific and practical problems in research in related sciences and in interdisciplinary.
