Course content
"Biology of individual development" is a mandatory discipline that covers the general patterns and mechanisms of ontogenetic transformations of organisms of different taxonomic groups of animals, the peculiarities of their course under different influences of environmental factors, normal and pathological; features of microscopic and submicroscopic organization of animal organisms of different taxonomic groups at different stages of embryogenesis; and outlines a range of methods and methodological approaches that can be used in conducting research in related sciences and in interdisciplinary projects and which require in-depth knowledge of the biology of individual development. The discipline is designed to generalize the idea of the systemic organization of living things and the role of naturally coordinated ontogenetic transformations in the formation, functioning and plasticity of organisms of different taxonomic groups of animals.
