Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of "general physics" according to the school curriculum in physics: the basics of algebra and geometry, according to the school curriculum and the course "Fundamentals of Higher Mathematics".
2. Be able to apply previous knowledge of school physics, algebra and geometry; solve basic types of physical problems.
3. Possess basic skills of mathematical transformations, differentiation, integration and operations with vector quantities.
Course content
Within the discipline "Physics" the basics of mechanics, molecular physics of thermodynamics, elements of electricity, magnetism, wave optics, atomic and nuclear physics are taught. This discipline is designed to form a deep and systematic knowledge of basic physical laws thermal, electric, etc .; skills in mastering the methods and principles of planning and performing a physical experiment, as well as calculating errors.
The discipline is designed to form in the student's scientific and methodological basis for solving theoretical and practical problems in the field of biological sciences.
