Learning outcomes
To know the philosophical, sociological and political foundations of the phenomenon and concept of civil society, its role in the development of democratic state administration and governance.
Be able to diagnose problematic issues of civil society participation in democratic governance, prepare solutions for their solution.
autonomy and responsibility: demonstrate an understanding of personal responsibility for the organization of democratic management and governance processes, including responsibility for effective interaction with civil society in these processes, in particular during justification of the need for changes to ensure the proper quality of public administration and governance in the organization, in the group/collective/team and at the personal level.

Know: the basic principles of the organization of state power and management in Ukraine, the basics of regulatory and legal support for the activities of public authorities; basic philosophical, sociological and political concepts that describe the role of civil society in the formation of social orders and the course of political and administrative processes.
2. To be able to use analytical and statistical methods of processing information regarding the socio-economic development of the country, territorial units, and the results of the activities of public authorities.
3. To have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical, sociological and other data, work with the legal framework, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).

Topic 2. Civil society as the active activity of associations, the image of the future and the public sphere.

Democratic governance as an interaction of the state, civil society and business
Topic 4. Problems of building systemic interaction of the state, civil society and business and methods of overcoming them.

Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.3), which makes up 25% of the total grade for the semester, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1 - 2.3; communication 3.1 – 3.2; autonomy 4.1 – 4.4), which is 75% of the total grade for the semester.
– semester assessment (MAX – 80 points / MIN – 48 points).
The final grade for the discipline is assigned to the student based on the results of work during the semester as the sum of points received during the academic semester, including points received for independent work and final control work.
The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester.
