Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes Know: theoretical foundations of public administration and public service. History of development of the theory and practice of civil service; Requirements, rights and duties of civil servants. General and special restrictions. Be able to: give a legal description of normative legal acts related to the regulation of civil service in Ukraine; Ensure compliance with legality and proper control in state administration. Autonomy and responsibility: Independently search and critically process literature on the problems of organizational and legal provision of state administration, fluently master the methods of processing, analysis and synthesis of scientific information; To independently solve complex tasks related to the improvement of political and legal provision of state administration

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites and additional requirements To know: normative and organizational principles of the civil service, problematic issues of institutional support for its management, analysis of the passage of the civil service, the system of training and retraining of civil servants, the content of ethical issues of the civil service and its prospects. To be able to analyze the interrelationship of the political and administrative components in the state administration, to give a legal characterization of the regulatory and legal acts related to the regulation of the civil service in Ukraine; Possess practical skills regarding: independent search for scientific information on solving the main issues of civil service in Ukraine;

Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment Semester assessment: assessment is carried out during the semester of all types of work, including surveys, independent work. – semester evaluation (MAX – 60 points / MIN – 36 points) – final assessment (MAX – 40 points / MIN – 24 points): the form of final assessment is an exam. The form of the exam is written work with tasks of various levels of difficulty. – final evaluation: the final evaluation is defined as the sum of evaluations (points) for all successfully evaluated learning outcomes during the semester (MAX – 100 points / MIN – 60 points).
