1. Before starting the study of the discipline, students should know: methodological foundations and functional features of public management and administration; the mission of the specified
management in the context of ensuring the safety of life of a person (individual), society and state institutions; trends in the evolution of public administration in Ukraine.
2. To be able to: identify factors that allow to evaluate a social phenomenon, which is denoted by the concept of "national security" when making management decisions;
apply basic categories, concepts (terms) when analyzing the complex problem of ensuring national security; interpret management situations in the context of ensuring the safety of a person (individual), society and the state.

Assessment of semester work:
1. Oral presentation, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: - 25 / 42 points.
2. An individual independent work (essay) is devoted to issues related to the conceptual foundations of the formation of the national security system: – 13 / 22 points.
3. Individual independent work (abstract) on the structure, tasks and prerequisites for the effectiveness of the national security system: – 10 / 16 points.
