Prerequisites and additional requirements
Be able to: identify factors that allow to classify national interests and identify factors that are the cause of dangers regarding their implementation; apply the main categories, concepts (terms) when solving the complex problem of ensuring national security; to plan measures to achieve goals defined in the process of management activity. Possess elementary skills: systematic analysis of factors that depend on the effectiveness and efficiency of programs (plans) whose purpose is to ensure the safety of people, society and the state; forecasting trends of changes in the environment of functioning of social systems; search using information technologies for the necessary information (including in foreign language sources) and its critical interpretation when solving management tasks related to planning the provision of national security

Methods and criteria of assessment
Assessment of semester work:
1. Oral report, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: – 36 / 60 points.
2. An individual independent work (essay) devoted to the study of the determinants of the formation of national security strategies: – 12 / 20 points.
Final assessment in the form of credit: The final number of points from the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the points received from the results of the credit (oral
or written). Thus, the final grade for the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the number of points for the semester's work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and the number of points obtained during the assessment (minimum 12, maximum 20 points).
