Learning outcomes
Students' achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as: the ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis, understanding the retrospective of hereditary law; the ability to exercise their hereditary rights and obligations as a participant in the relevant relationship; the ability to master and apply modern knowledge of hereditary law to interpret and resolve practical situations, the assimilation of knowledge regarding hereditary doctrine and legislation, as well as the practice of the ECHR on the basis of recognition of human dignity as the highest social value.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of the formation and history of the development of hereditary law, the legal nature of the main institutions of hereditary law, the basic principles and mechanisms for the implementation of subjective hereditary rights and how to protect them, basic literary sources on hereditary law, acts of civil legislation of Ukraine regulating hereditary relations, as well as the existing judicial practice of resolving hereditary disputes. To be able to evaluate and determine the role and tasks of hereditary law, to separate hereditary legal relations and hereditary rights from other types of civil legal relations and civil rights, to give them a legal characteristic. Possess elementary skills in working with educational and regulatory literature, the use of scientific methods of knowledge and legal solutions controversial practical situations in the field of inheritance law.
Course content
Forms of teaching and methods of teaching this discipline are aimed at conducting a legal analysis of the provisions of hereditary law and problematic issues related to their enforcement, studying the theoretical and practical aspects of the emergence (termination), implementation and protection of hereditary rights. Within the academic discipline, the general characteristic of hereditary law, the types and features of hereditary legal relations, as well as the specifics of the implementation and protection of hereditary rights are studied. The course of the academic discipline involves a deep study by students of institutes of hereditary law, sources, legal literature, basic concepts and special terminology.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study work of the student on the basis of mastering of court cases, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher
Assessment methods and criteria
In the classroom, the student's current knowledge control includes: 1. reports and scientific works - from 9 to 12 points; performance in the classroom - from 7 to 10 points; addition of the performance - from 1 to 5 points; significant questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 2 to 5 points; solving the incident - from 5 to 8 points. Subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity when discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; homework results, test results. A student who has not reached the minimum level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that can be assessed during the final control may not be allowed to the final assessment.
