Learning outcomes
Achievement of the following competencies by students: ability to think abstractly, analyze and synthesize, understand the retrospective of inheritance law; ability to master and apply modern knowledge of inheritance law to interpret and solve practical situations, master knowledge of inheritance doctrine and legislation, as well as the practice of the ECHR. and legislation, as well as the practice of the ECHR based on the recognition of human dignity as the highest social value.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of the formation and history of inheritance law, the legal nature of the main institutions of inheritance law, the basic principles and mechanisms for the implementation of subjective inheritance rights and ways to protect them, basic literary sources on inheritance law, acts of civil legislation of Ukraine regulating inheritance relations, as well as the existing judicial practice of resolving inheritance disputes. Be able to evaluate and define the role and objectives of inheritance law, distinguish inheritance legal relations and inheritance rights from other types of civil legal relations and civil rights, and give them a legal description. Possess basic skills of working with educational and regulatory literature, applying scientific methods of knowledge and legal methods of resolving controversial practical situations in the field of inheritance law.
Course content
is aimed at an in-depth study of the inheritance law of Ukraine at the level of legal doctrine, civil law and judicial practice; analysis of the current
state and trends in the development of inheritance law in Ukraine and foreign countries; acquisition of skills for the practical application of inheritance law constructions.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-studying work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
Reports and research papers - from 9 to 12 points; 2. Class presentation - from 7 to 10 points; 3. Supplementing the presentation - from 1 to 5 points; 4. Essential questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 2 to 5 points; 5. Solving a case - from 5 to 8 points.
The following are subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; results of homework.
Students can make up for seminars missed for valid reasons during extracurricular time (teacher's consultation time) by oral questioning, testing, and preparing a research report.
A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final control may not be allowed to take the final assessment.
The final assessment of student knowledge takes place during the written test (maximum score - 60).
