            aimed at achieving students' competencies, in particular: the ability to think abstractly, analyze and synthesize through the prism of provisions and knowledge of the general part of civil law; the ability to exercise their rights and obligations in civil relations on the basis of the values of civil society and the rule of law; analyze the problems of legal regulation of civil relations, form and justify their own legal position on civil law; the ability to apply the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and fundamental principles of civil law.

             Know the basic provisions of the general theory of law, the main sources and place of civil law in the system of national law.     
To be able to distinguish from the general range of legal relations those that can be attributed to civil law.    
 Possess basic skills of perception of civil law concepts, search for sources and basic literature of civil law.      
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at studying the institutions of contract law (general provisions on obligations, general provisions of the contract), systems of contractual and non-contractual obligations (contracts of sale, gift, rent, hire, contract, transportation, storage, in the field of disposal of intellectual property rights, banking transactions, etc.), legal institutions of inheritance law.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            The current control of student's knowledge in the discipline includes: a speech - from 5 to 7 points; additions to the speech - from 1 to 4 points; essential questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 1 to 3 points; reports and research papers - from 5 to 7 points; solving a case - from 2 to 5 points; two final (module) tests - from 5 to 7 points each.
The following are subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in class; results of homework. 
Students may make up for seminars missed for valid reasons by oral questioning, testing, or preparing a research report. 
A student who has not reached the minimum threshold grade level (24 points) for those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final examination may not be allowed to take the final examination.
The final assessment of student knowledge takes place during a written exam (maximum score - 60).
