Course content
The discipline "Philosophy" allows students to familiarize themselves with the worldview and methodological culture accumulated by mankind over the entire history of its existence, show the holistic, integrative nature of knowledge about the world around us, emphasize the fundamental importance for each person of his free worldview self-determination, the choice of an active life position, the creation of good by strengthening the state and society by their own activities. Philosophy for future specialists in natural and economic geography is an ideological and at the same time methodological basis, on the basis of which the assimilation of humanitarian, general educational, fundamental and applied disciplines takes place. To a large extent, thanks to it, it becomes possible for students to go beyond the limits of narrow professional training, orientation towards universal human values.
