Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the discipline "Geodesy"
Course content
The discipline considers the theoretical foundations and practical methods of geodesy. The study of the discipline involves students' mastery of theoretical material in lectures and laboratory classes, as well as independent work with normative and educational literature, practical mastery of basic design solutions and calculations. Educational geodetic practice is the final stage of studying the discipline "Geodesy". This practice is carried out after studying the theoretical part of the course and laboratory work and is the final stage of studying the course of geodesy. This practice expands, deepens and consolidates theoretical knowledge; teaches to perform topographic and geodetic works independently; accustoms to the regime of the working day in the field, as well as labor discipline; expands the skills of using geodetic instruments and measuring instruments; helps to master production techniques and skills.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Field work, in-house work
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment during the internship:
1) Work in the field - 40 points (threshold score of 24 points)
2) Work during chamber classes - 40 points (threshold score 24 points)
Final evaluation in the form of differentiated credit (report protection) is mandatory: maximum score of 20 points (marginal score of 12 points). During the report, the student implements the project using knowledge and skills in the basics of geodesy and skills acquired during the geodetic practice. The final grade in the form of a differentiated test is mandatory, if you refuse to participate in this form of assessment, the student will not receive the appropriate points for the final grade. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale.
