1. Before studying this course, students must know the methods of philosophy research, basic concepts of socio-economic research. 2. Be able to collect and interpret information on dilemmas,to substantiate one's own worldview position on various topical social issues and professional problems

The discipline is aimed at forming an educated specialist, ethically competent and morally oriented to conscientious and ethically balanced performance of professional activities. The subject field of professional and corporate ethics, features of ethical regulation of professional activity, ethical dimensions of professionalism are determined. The mission and structure of ethical infrastructure as a tool for managing values ​​in professional and corporate activities, models and functions of ethical units and ethical documents are clarified. Ethical principles of engineering activity, ethical codes in the profession of engineer, ethical dilemmas in the profession of engineer are determined. The value principles of scientific activity in socio-cultural activities, value-normative principles of the scientist's activity, ethical dimensions of the relationship between ethics and technology, as well as the features of social responsibility in science are clarified.

Lectures, essays, express polls, independent work of students

The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the mastered material, in particular the assessment of theoretical training -express survey, participation in discussions at lectures, which is 30% of the total assessment and assessment of practical training - independent work of students in writing essays. Modular test work is the final written work and is conducted in the form of oral written test.
