Prerequisites and co-requisites
The discipline "Geodesy" is based on a cycle of disciplines of theoretical and professional training, in particular, students must have knowledge of topography, have basic training in mathematics, physics.
Course content
The discipline "Geodesy" is the basis for obtaining a bachelor's degree in the field of knowledge "19. Architecture and Construction "specialty" 193. Geodesy and land management ". The theory and practice of training specialists in the study of the shape, size of the Earth, methods of accurate geodetic, gravimetric and astronomical and geodetic measurements, which are performed to determine the coordinates of points on the earth's surface; study of the theory and practice of geodetic measurements on the earth's surface using modern technologies, hardware and software to create a geodetic network of topographic surveys (basic geodetic works). Processing of these measurements.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides 2 substantive parts (3, 4 semesters). Classes are held in the form of lectures, laboratory classes, independent performance of individual tasks (at the student's choice). The discipline ends with an exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, all types of work are evaluated, including independent work and individual tasks. Individual tasks are formed Case study on one of the selected topics, or the course as a whole. Deadline - 20 days from receipt of the task. The defense of student research results is carried out during the semester and ends a week before the session.
